We are seeking a Freelance Technical Support Specialist to provide on-demand technical assistance and troubleshooting for our systems. The ideal candidate will be skilled in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, with a strong focus on Ubuntu and system upgrades.
Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and networking issues
- Assist users with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of software applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve system errors and performance issues
- Document support cases, track progress, and follow up to ensure issues are resolved
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues as needed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products and services
- Provide clear, professional communication and technical guidance to users of varying skill levels
- Perform computer upgrades and recommend hardware replacements when necessary
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with Ubuntu and general technical support
- Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with hardware maintenance
- Ability to work independently and manage technical tasks efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Availability for flexible hours
