Job Description

We are seeking a Freelance Technical Support Specialist to provide on-demand technical assistance and troubleshooting for our systems. The ideal candidate will be skilled in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, with a strong focus on Ubuntu and system upgrades.

Job Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and networking issues
  • Assist users with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of software applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system errors and performance issues
  • Document support cases, track progress, and follow up to ensure issues are resolved
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues as needed
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products and services
  • Provide clear, professional communication and technical guidance to users of varying skill levels
  • Perform computer upgrades and recommend hardware replacements when necessary

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Ubuntu and general technical support
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with hardware maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and manage technical tasks efficiently
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Availability for flexible hours
